2004 – Going
big!
It was 2004 when the first full edition of SUNANDBASS took
place in San Teodoro. And boy, this time
we did it properly! With a fantastic line
up and an extensive promotion the number
of participants went through the roof! Germans,
Dutch, Austrians, Swiss, Italians, English,
French, Spanish even Israeli and Americans
to name a few nations that met in San Teodoro. SUNANDBASS 2004
attracted people from all over the world!
With the first Drum‘n’Bass holiday
on an island a unique vibe was born: SUNANDBASS is
not another rave, simply brought to a nicer
location than shabby warehouses. It is an
international get together of open-minded
people and real music lovers!
Locations for
the club nights of 2004 were the Pa-kiki
Club and the Ambra Night. Some of the biggest
names in Drum’n’Bass
like DJ SS or the great Grooverider were
simply amazed by the set-up of the Mediterranean
clubs with their outside areas, palm trees
and well designed interior. Already the
first edition of SUNANDBASS was
setting new measures within the international
Drum’n’Bass scene...
